At Cat's Peek Rescue we specialize in caring for kittens under 8 weeks old. We have a variety of kittens available for adoption. We are a small, non-profit organization with foster care in our homes as opposed to a shelter set up. Therefore we are limited in space. We will not accept owner give ups unless the owner originally adopted the cat from us. We cannot take in stray/feral cats as we do not have enough room for them. We will, however, trap, spay/neuter, release if you are willing to help financially.
We are limited to taking in kittens who have been abandoned or orphaned by their mom. We can accept feral kittens up to about age 3 months, from areas we are trapping in only. Past that age we would have to trap, spay/neuter, release since feral kittens past that age are extremely difficult to adjust to handling and finding adoptive homes. If you have an unaltered female cat who presented you with kittens, we will help you place the kittens, if we have room, as long as you are willing to have the mom spayed so no more will be born.
If you are a client to one of our participating veterinary hospitals or you are associated with our sister spay/neuter clinic, we will help if we can. If you are on a low or fixed income and want to do the right thing by getting your cat (or dog) spayed/neutered, please contact us or visit our links page for the Amazing Grace Spay Neuter Program and obtain an application.
Update Feb. 12, 2010: We are in the news!! Read two online articles in The Times News that help spread our message about our cause, work and feral cat overpopulation called, "Wild cats lead to overpopulation" and "Cat's Peek gears up for spring season".

We thank you for your caring generosity!
We assure you that 100% of all financial donations we receive go directly to the cats we foster for their food, medical needs, veterinary visits and vaccinations. NO one within our organzation receives any money from the organization. We are all volunteers who donate to the organization to help the kittens and cats we care for. Transportation of the kittens to and from off site adoption locations and vet visits are paid for by our volunteers personally and NEVER reimbursed from our rescue funds.
